The first generation Intel Core Ultra processors are now available and one of the first products to use them is the new ZenBook 14 OLED from ASUS.

On 14th December Intel unveiled its complete lineup of first-generation Intel Core Ultra processors, which are set to power the upcoming range of laptops and notebooks.

ASUS presented the new Zenbook 14 OLED which in addition to a high-performance chip brings many improvements to the aesthetic and as regards the display, adding to the already extensive list of Zenbook Classic devices.

ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED will be available starting from the last week of December on the ASUS online shop from a recommended retail price of $1,299. At the moment it is possible to pre-order at the price indicated directly on the official website ASUS.

Ultraportable OLED laptop features the all-new AI-powered Intel Core Ultra 9 processor

  • Premium ultraportable design: Thinner and lighter than ever, weighing just 1.2 kg with a 14.9 mm profile
  • Premium performance: Intel® Evo™ Edition with up to flagship AI-powered Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor and true-to-life 3K ASUS Lumina OLED display
  • Premium user experience: Improved user experience with face login, new super-linear speakers and new quiet ASUS ErgoSense keyboard
  • Made for the Earth: Sustainable design uses recycled and recyclable materials; tested to US military-grade durability standards for an extended service life

One notable advancement in the Zenbook 14 is its reduced weight, now at 1.2 kg, made possible by the durable aluminum body. Despite being lighter, this weight reduction doesn’t compromise its robustness or detract from its elegant aesthetics. Additionally, the display has undergone enhancements, with the Zenbook 14 now featuring a 14-inch Lumina OLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass. Users have the option of two resolutions: either 2880 × 1800 pixels in standard or touch versions with a 120 Hz refresh rate, or a 1920 × 1200 pixel resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

Regarding its components, the Zenbook 14 will offer three processors from Intel’s H line: the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, Ultra 7 155H, and Ultra 9 185H. However, only the second option is presently available for pre-order. The technical specifications also include up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, a PCIe 4.0 SSD of up to 1 TB, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 modules, a full HD webcam equipped with infrared for Windows Hello, and a backlit keyboard.
