{"id":6728,"date":"2025-08-07T16:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T14:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyonegaming.com\/?p=6728"},"modified":"2025-08-07T16:30:00","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T14:30:00","slug":"battlefield-6-open-beta-is-already-seeing-impressive-numbers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyonegaming.com\/news\/gaming\/battlefield-6-open-beta-is-already-seeing-impressive-numbers\/","title":{"rendered":"The Battlefield 6 beta is already seeing impressive numbers on Steam"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Early access to the <strong>Battlefield 6<\/strong> beta is already generating impressive numbers on PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Battlefield 6 beta has already surpassed 340,000 concurrent users<\/strong>\u00a0on Steam &#8211;  DICE has noted they are working to increase server\u00a0capacity as demand and access grow, ahead of full open launch this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/steamdb.info\/embed\/?appid=3081410\" height=\"389\" style=\"border:0;overflow:hidden;width:100%\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Battlefield 6 &#8211; Maps + Early Access <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With early access starting August 7th for eligible users, the beta will take place across two different sessions: the first will run from August 9th to 10th, the second from August 14th to 17th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Available for free to download from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2807960\/Battlefield_6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Steam<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/store.playstation.com\/product\/UP0006-PPSA28176_00-BETABETA00000000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PlayStation Store<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xbox.com\/games\/store\/battlefield-6-open-beta\/9n82w416g5kk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Xbox Store<\/a><\/strong>, the &#8220;largest beta ever&#8221; for the Battlefield series aims to engage a huge audience and lay the groundwork for the launch of the full game, set for 10 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Three maps will initially be available in the beta:<\/strong> Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak, and Iberian Offensive. However, during the second weekend, an additional scenario, Empire State, will debut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EA said it is aiming for\u00a0100 million players\u00a0with <strong>Battlefield 6<\/strong>, more than three times Battlefield 1&#8217;s reported peak of around 30 million players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are the official Battlefield 6 Beta dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>August 7 &#8211;
