Shadow has been enjoying plenty of attention recently, appearing prominently in Sonic x Shadow Generations<\/strong> and gaining even more popularity through his role in the Sonic the Hedgehog 3<\/strong> movie, where Keanu Reeves voiced his character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shadow the Hedgehog first appeared in the Sonic series in 2001\u2019s Sonic Adventure 2 before starring in his own game in 2005, released on PS2, Xbox, and GameCube. While critics weren\u2019t kind to it at the time, the game has since gained a cult following thanks to its mix of classic 3D Sonic platforming and Shadow\u2019s unusual use of firearms in combat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with any rumour or trademark filing, it\u2019s all just speculation for now \u2014 so take it with a grain of salt until Sega makes an official announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
