The highly anticipated DOOM: The Dark Ages launches today in Early Access for those who own the Premium Edition or our GeForce RTX 50 Series bundle, and on May 15th for everyone.

Thanks to a technical collaboration with id Software, GeForce RTX gamers will be able to experience the ultimate PC experience. On RTX 50 Series GPUs, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation delivers up to a 4x increase in frame rates at 4K. RTX 40 Series users will get a 4x increase in performance with DLSS Frame Generation, while all RTX GPUs will benefit from higher visual quality with the DLSS Super Resolution AI Transformer model.

Native ray tracing technologies in the idTech8 engine are powered by dedicated ray tracing cores on GeForce RTX GPUs, and NVIDIA Reflex makes gameplay even more responsive with reduced latency. Shortly after launch, an exclusive PC update will introduce Path Tracing, taking ray-traced lighting to the next level with DLSS Ray Reconstruction on RTX 50 Series cards.

NVIDIA App is continuously advancing and becoming increasingly vital for GeForce GPU users. Among its latest enhancements, users can now leverage upgraded AI models and DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation across a wider array of games and applications. Additionally, fifteen new DLSS overrides have been integrated, boosting both performance and image quality in recent titles. The updated drivers also introduce compatibility for seven new G-SYNC displays, ensuring a smoother gaming experience through VRR technology.
