The upcoming 2D platformer, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, developed by Ubisoft, has confirmed its “gone gold,” preparing for its launch in January 2024. Initially unveiled at Ubisoft’s 2023 Summer Game Fest presentation, this title impressed both fans of the franchise and enthusiasts of 2D action platformers.

As we know Ubisoft is also working on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is currently being reworked, but in the meantime, we will have this title to hold us down for a while till we get any news on the remake.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown kicks 2024 with a bang!

As we approach the end of 2023, the official Prince of Persia Twitter account has officially confirmed that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has “gone gold” status and is all set for its release on 18 January, which is just around the corner.

A 30-second trailer was released, showcasing glimpses of the main character, Sargon, alongside his Immortals clan, with key story elements. As this is the first game from a major publisher set to be released in 2024.

The Lost Crown will be kicking off the next year of video game releases.
