rAge Expo 2023 – It’s officially Day 2 of rAge Expo, but let’s recap the awesomeness of rAge Day 1
Nothing can prepare you for the nostalgia you feel, especially when you get the chance to purchase the NAG Magazine once again, after years off. The magazine that started my whole gaming journey. rAge returned with a bang and has taken over the Gallagher Convention Centre from December 8th to 10th, 2023, and guarantees entertainment, sales and especially an all-in-one fun time for the whole family!
THE NAG MAGAZINE RETURNS!
All gaming enthusiasts, streamers, aficionados, and fans of gaming culture gather for one of the continent’s largest conventions. The initial day surpassed all my expectations, brimming with engagement and excitement. It’s akin to a reunion, meeting up with long-unseen friends, online acquaintances, and pals from across the nation who’ve convened for this incredible event.
As I mentioned above, the NAG Magazine has made a triumphant return to the rAge Expo again! Seeing many carrying the magazine around got me emotional; I imagine Len, Michael, and the NAG team feel proud.
If you are at rAge Expo for Day 2, or Day 3 please be sure to head to the NAG stand and pick one up, you won’t regret it. And note they are really limited…only 10000 copies.
Here is a sneak peek

MSI, RAZER COOLER MASTER & MORE!
The stands this year are great as always, MSI, Razer, and Cooler Master exhibitions had some of the most astonishing products being showcased. From the CMODX custom-built PCs from Cooler Master to the MSI stand which showcases the newest Nvidia RTX 40 series laptops and components, as well as AI Gaming software that will enhance your gaming experience!
So many great products to see, you won’t want to miss it!

Competitive ESPORTS
As with any rAge Expo, there is the Esports gaming element and boy were we in for a treat because, there is esports tournaments taking place throughout the weekend, with the finals in most of them only taking place on Saturday and Sunday…so plenty of actions still to be seen.
One of the esports competitions is the Carry1st VALZA Cup which pits South Africa’s top Valorant teams against each other for podium positions. A massive prize pool of R75,000 goes to the team that makes it into 1st place, while the runners-up will receive R45,000. Third receives R30,000, and if you miss one of those top three spots, 4th place will still take home R15,000.
So it is no surprise that the panel discussions that took place during Day 1 were very informative and worth the listen.
So be sure to join us on Day 2 & 3 for the epic matches!

LOOKING FORWARD TO EVEN MORE!
Stay tuned for even more as we will have a full weekend breakdown on Day 3 of the whole weekend, and who won, lost and more on the other aspects of the rAge Expo 2023…so much to see, do, and play that I don’t want it to end.
rAge Expo 2023 welcomes all, so come join us! If you see me there, don’t hesitate to say hi—I’d love to meet new friends at the Really Awesome Gaming Expo 😉
