Sony will debut its PlayStation Plus Cloud Streaming service on October 17th, allowing PlayStation Plus Premium members to stream PS5 games to their PS5 consoles. The service is set to release in Japan on the same date, in Europe on October 23rd, and in North America on October 30th.

Initially, the service will have a restricted selection of PS5 games available for streaming. Nevertheless, Sony has plans to expand the library to include hundreds of PS5 titles soon. At launch, some games include Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, Mortal Kombat 11, and Saints Row IV.

Streaming access includes supported PS5 titles on the Game Catalog, Game Trials, and purchases from the PS Store.

Regarding streaming content, PlayStation Plus Cloud Streaming offers an extensive array of features. It encompasses support for various resolutions such as 4K, 1440p, 1080p, and 720p at 60 frames per second (FPS). Additionally, all games are compatible with both SDR and HDR output. Furthermore, it boasts compatibility with a range of audio codecs, including 5.1, 7.1, Tempest 3D Audiotech, and Dolby Atmos.

Cloud streaming through PlayStation Plus Premium is currently available in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States.
