Fortnite Chapter 5

The latest season of Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 2 has launched, under the new title of “Myths & Mortals“.

This new season is heavily influenced by Greek mythology, featuring various mythical creatures and gods. The commencement of this season introduces a new battle pass with numerous enticing skins, along with several new locations to discover, weapons to try out, and much more.

With the unveiling of Pandora’s Box on the Island, we’ve welcomed Olympus, along with its mythical deities. Powerful figures from ancient mythology like Hades, the god of the underworld, and Zeus, the god of thunder, now reign supreme on the island.

New Locations, New Weapons, New Skins

To get to the Underworld, players will need to cross the river at Grim Gate, where the three-headed Cerberus guard dog awaits. Venture to the west of the island to confront this legendary foe. The Underworld is the home of Hades. Another location is the Brawler’s Battleground arena, south of Mount Olympus.

Some of the new weapons in Chapter 5 are unforgiving and will make your enemies quake in their boots. The Harbinger SMG is a highly accurate weapon that has dramatically increased recoil and bloom when more bullets are fired.

Another powerhouse of a weapon is The Huntress DMR is a new rifle from Artemis, it’s apparently great against the gods on the island. And it can be found around the island or as a Mythic version by hunting down Zeus.

And of course the new Thunderbolt of Zeus allows players to rise into the air and hurl lightning bolts at enemies. However, it only has a maximum of three charges with a cooldown between one. Pick up this Mythic power across the island or by defeating Zeus himself.
