Comic Con Africa has revealed that renowned actor, activist, and New York Times bestselling author Misha Collins will be joining at this year’s event on Friday, August 29 and Saturday, August 30!
Comic Con Africa 2025 is here from 29 – 31 August at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, South Africa.
Misha is widely recognized for his portrayal of the Angel Castiel in Supernatural, which holds the title of the longest-running US sci-fi television series ever. He has also played the iconic role of Harvey Dent/”Two-Face” in the CW’s Gotham Knights and made appearances on shows like 24, ER, and Charmed. In 2022, he took the helm as host of the Emmy-nominated PBS series Roadfood.
In addition to his acting career, Collins is an accomplished activist and author. His poetry book, “Some Things I Still Can’t Tell You”, became a New York Times bestseller, and his podcast, Bridgewater, was the number one fiction podcast on Apple Podcasts in 2022 and 2023. Collins is the founder of Random Acts, a volunteer-run nonprofit inspiring global acts of kindness, and GISH, the Guinness World Record-winning international scavenger hunt that has raised millions for charity.
