As a lifelong anime fan and full-time Naruto disciple, I never thought I’d live to see the day that South Africa got an official Naruto food collab — but here we are, and I’m unashamed to say:
This is my whole personality and eating disorder for the next few weeks. Yeah. I said what I said. And it’s worth every damn bite.

🍱 I Got the Sasuke Meal via Uber Eats (Because Shinobi Also Hustle Remotely)
So let’s talk about the Burger King x Naruto collaboration, now live across South Africa at participating branches.
I ordered mine via Uber Eats because I was swamped with work (being Hokage-level busy), and I needed that instant dopamine rush straight to my door.
I chose the Sasuke Meal — chicken burger variant — and let me tell you, it’s not just a slapped-together fast food tie-in.
This thing was crafted like a culinary jutsu. A themed black-and-purple Naruto bun cradled the succulent, tender chicken patty, with a slick, glossy teriyaki glaze that practically sang as it touched my tongue.
There’s a beautiful crunch from the crispy onions, juicy tomato slices that refresh the palate, and just the right amount of cheeky sauce to tie the whole composition together.

The burger bit down like butter — smooth, juicy, with that rich umami of teriyaki hitting the upper notes while the soft bun and crisp onions balanced the texture.
Dastardly delectable. Sinfully satisfying. This burger fed my anime soul like Ichiraku Ramen after a long mission.
🎁 The Merch? Peak Konoha Drip
With the meal came the Sasuke chibi toy, and the actual excitement I had opening the box was childlike in the best way.
I also got to choose a shirt — I picked the black one, naturally (gotta stay emo for Sasuke). It cost R200 extra, and I was surprised (in the best way) that it also came with the Naruto headband!
An actual Konoha forehead protector, bro.
I put that thing on like I’d been waiting my whole life to graduate from the Academy — and honestly, I have.

💖 Love, Anime, and the Sweetest Surprise from My Fiancée
Here’s where things got personal. After hearing me scream like a fanboy about the collab, my fiancé did the most adorable, heart-melting thing ever.
She went all the way to Mall of the South, scoped out the different toys, and got herself a meal just to get me a toy.
She posted on her story:
“How to show your anime-loving BF love: Get the Naruto Burger King meal just for the collectible.”
🥺😭💘

This amazing gesture hit me in ways I can’t explain. It was her way of saying, “I see you. I love you in your weirdest weeb form.” And I’ll never forget it. Minnnnaaa!! I found my WAIFU! *crying heart eyes emotional weeb
These are the moments that make anime feel real. That make life feel like a story arc where love wins — not with roses or chocolate, but with a tiny Naruto figurine holding a cup of soda.
🧒 My Inner Child Is Screaming, Crying, and Doing Jutsu
Naruto is my all-time favorite anime.
Not just because of the fights or the power-ups, but because of the story of Naruto Uzumaki himself — a lonely boy with no one, who became the most loved and powerful person in his village through sheer will, heart, and belief in his friends.
This anime shaped my childhood. The Chunin Exams arc? Mind-blowing. Jiraiya’s death? Gut-wrenching. The Pain arc? A masterpiece.
So to get something like this — a physical, edible, merch-loaded Naruto-themed combo meal in 2025?
It’s not just a marketing ploy. It’s a dream come true for little Enricoh, who watched Naruto late at night wondering if anyone else in the world loved this show as much as he did.
And now I’m here. Shirt on. Toy in hand. Burger in mouth.
This is what fulfillment tastes like.
🗣️ A Call to Arms for All Weebs, Otakus & Anime Lovers in SA
Let’s make noise, people.
Buy the meal. Get the toy. Rock the shirt. Wear the headband.
Let Burger King SA know the anime fandom is here, hungry, and ready for more.
Let’s sell this thing out. Let’s make them go, “Damn, we need to do a Demon Slayer collab next.” (Especially with the Hashira Training arc dropping soon 👀🔥)
🙏 Final Words: Arigato, Burger King
To @BurgerKingSA — THANK YOU.
Thank you for giving us something to geek out over. For doing it right. For going full ninja with the theme, the flavors, the packaging, and the experience.
You didn’t just give us a burger.
You gave us a memory. A collectible. A moment.
This is my Ninja Way.
Dattebayo. 🍥🔥
