Monster Energy & Mettlestate Present the Call of Duty Showdown
A much-anticipated event is the Call of Duty tournament, organized by Mettlestate in partnership with Monster Energy. The top four teams from the online qualifiers will compete live at the Monster Stand for a chance to win a portion of the R10,000 prize pool.
In addition to the esports action, visitors to the Monster stand can look forward to a range of engaging activities.
Jeann Steyn, Marketing Lead at Monster Energy, shares, “Monster Energy will have our big Monster Rig onsite where rAgers can expect to engage with the brand through some exciting activities. These include timed product sampling to taste the latest and greatest flavours we have available in the country.
“The team will also be manning two activation elements on the rig: a photobooth where visitors can take a free printout memory of the event home, and our MMA machine—think you’re better than our champ, World Middleweight Champion Dricus du Plessis? Come test your skills! Plus, we’ll have our Ford Raptor on display, which is the grand prize in our current promo. It’s all about bringing the energy and excitement to rAge!”
