The updated Voicelab 2.0 takes the original Voicelab concept to the next level, allowing users to craft their voice changers using a range of real-time editing features like reverb, pitch shifting, and distortion. However, the new version is designed to be user-friendly, making it accessible for those without any audio expertise to create high-quality voices effortlessly. It simplifies the process while enhancing the joy of sound experimentation.
Users can choose from existing characters, including both non-AI and AI-generated options, and the AI voices are built using models trained on ethically sourced datasets with full consent and proper licensing, including from professional voice actors who are paid fairly.
This stands in contrast to competitors that rely on scraped or IP-infringing voice data, a growing concern for creative industries facing widespread copyright abuse.

Voicelab 2.0 is available now in Voicemod’s desktop and mobile apps for Pro users.
